About the artists..
Welcome to my creative space and practice. I’m Nina Doerr the artists, designer and hands behind the creations that live in this space. Based out of Virginia Beach, I explore themes of nature, spirituality and humanity through different mediums.
My work ranges in medium, I have found that exploring different techniques and mediums I have a balance between freedom, play and storytelling. The majority of the work created explores local flora and fauna from my new home in Virginia and my native state of Maine.
My work focuses on the magic held in nature. My hope is that this work helps others create and nurture their connection to nature and storytelling.
Learning from techniques gained over the years of study has given me a solid foundation to continue exploring nature. I leans into using earth pigments and man-made materials to communicate humans’ evolving relationship with our natural world.
